Everett William Zi-Yuan Lo

Everett William Zi-Yuan Lo, affectionately known as “Rhett,” went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 6, 2024, at the tender age of two. A spirited and radiant little soul, Rhett’s joy and boundless energy touched all who knew him. Born on July 3, 2022, in Knoxville, Tennessee, he brought a light to this world that will never fade. Rhett adored his big brother and best friend, Preston, and treasured every moment spent playing together. His days were filled with laughter and curiosity as he explored the world with an infectious enthusiasm. He loved all trucks (fire, construction, garbage, and monster), Thomas the Tank Engine, CocoMelon, dinosaurs, and rainbows, while mac & cheese, "Chick-A-Lay" nuggets, and sips of sweet tea shared with his ‘daddy’ were simple pleasures that filled his little world. Everett was a child who lived fully in each moment, embracing all the adventures along the way. He had an affinity for life’s little joys: digging in the yard with his brother, cheek hugs, open-mouthed kisses, impromptu dance parties, and his habit of dashing around without a stitch, full of playfulness. His dog, Sadie, was his steadfast companion on their many strolls in the neighborhood and the park. Rhett’s adventurous side was balanced by his gentle sweetness – often enjoying holding hands, receiving and giving hugs, as well as his innate nature to make those around him smile. His charming nature and open-hearted love will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. He leaves behind his devoted parents, David and Jenny Lo; his beloved brother, Preston Lo; grandparents Helen and Yuh-Hwei Lo, and William and Kathie Faverty; his cherished Aunt Diana Lo and Uncle Tom Hsieh, Uncle David and Aunt Jackie Faverty, and Uncle Danny and Aunt Amy Faverty; and his adored cousins, Makayla and Tyler Hsieh, and Sarah Jane and Will Faverty. In his short but impactful life, Rhett filled every moment with light and laughter. He was truly a gift, a joyous presence, and a ray of sunshine who loved fiercely, played wholeheartedly, and embraced each day with boundless enthusiasm. His family and friends will hold him in their hearts, cherishing his memory and the joy he brought to their lives. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Rose Funeral & Cremation – Mann. A celebration of Everett’s life will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm at Lakeshore Park with Allan Thompson officiating.
