Jane F. Norman. John 14: 1-4 "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going." On the evening of June 20, 2015 Jane broke free from the shackles of her earthly body and is now with her first love, Christ! Reunited in Heaven with her husband and best friend of 39 years, Kenny and her baby Roy. A woman who devoted her life to her family and friends. Such a giving and honest lady who was never short on smiles and laughter. Her door was always open and she was the giver of a thousand second chances. She was an encourager and always said "You never know if something is going to work unless you try." Diet Dr. Pepper will have to find a new #1 fan!! Her legacy will live on through the life of her daughter Ruth and 3 grandsons whom she adored Shawn, Kevin and Ethan as well as their mother Quilan and David Parks. Jane's sister Becky and favorite brother in law Gary! Her nieces and nephews, Sally (Blake), Jennifer (Tim), Michael (Amanda), Paul, Jeremy, Reilly, Sarah, Paxton, Caden all who loved Great Jane! Cousin Ann Jackson of Temple, TX and her children as well as grandchildren. Many dear friends and all of their children who mom considered family, The Hodsons, Sohms, Goods and Neely's. A very special Thank you to Moms caregiver Penny Casteel for her love and devotion over the past 5 weeks in providing companionship, dignity, laughter and respect for Jane. Special thanks to Dr. Robert Blacky and Michael Feurst NP of Cardiology Associate of East Tennessee for the excellent medical guidance they provided Jane over the past several years. Special thanks to the staff of Roses mortuary for all their efforts in making this time less stressful. This family will forever feel the impact of her loss. No one will ever be able to make her broccoli casserole or stack cakes the way she did as love will always be the missing ingredient! The world will never have another Jane Norman. Let her light shine on through all who remain and that she gave so much of herself to. Family will be hosting a Wake at Janes home on Friday June 26 6p.m.-9p.m. with memories and music being shared. All are welcome. Burial to follow on Saturday June 27 departing the home at 11:00 a.m. in procession to Edgewood Cemetery.
