Joann Ball

Joann Ball, loving wife and mother went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was born in Knoxville, TN. Joann met her beloved husband when they were 16 years old and lived and loved each other for 68 years through good times and bad. She leaves 2 beautiful daughters which were the light of her life her eldest Belinda Ball and her youngest Angela Ball. She was preceded in death by her father George Cole, mother, Gladys Cole; 3 brothers, Leonard Cole, James Cole, and Edward Cole; 3 sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Ball, Dorothy Broyles and Melba Ball; brothers-in-law, Robert Ball, Henry Ball, Ralph Ball, Donald Ball, Tony Broyles, Ray McIntosh and George Clifton. Also preceded in life her best friend Sandy Hill. She is survived by her ever loving family husband, Oscar Ball, daughters, Belinda Ball and Angie Ball; 3 sisters, Wilma Ray, Margaret Williams, and Nancy Cole; 2 sisters-in-law, Helen Clifton and Ruby McIntosh; brother-in-law, James Ball. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, other family and friends and neighbors. Joann had the biggest heart of gold that anyone could ever had she was always there for any of her loved ones in any time of need. Joann was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She always believed the Lord would take care of everything from the biggest to the littlest through her amazing faith in her Lord and Savior. Joann was light hearted and loved to laugh. She loved all her fur babies but most of all her Cash who she called her angel. She loved all things sweet especially ice-cream. Her beautiful eyes, smile and personality captured everyone’s love that she had ever met. Joann would not want her loved ones to mourn she would want them to Celebrate her life. She was truly loved and will be missed forever and always. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Saturday, July 1, 2023.
