Mrs. Margaret Mynatt McLean

McLean, Margaret Mynatt - age 92 of Knoxville, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 30, 2016 the exact day to the year she lost her beloved husband Victor H. McLean Jr. Margaret was a graduate of Knoxville High School. After graduating, she married her high school sweetheart, Victor H. McLean J r. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Margaret had an infectious laugh and a lively personality. She never met anyone that didn't remember her and everything about her. After their sons were grown, Margaret and Vic spent 8 months out of the year in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida where they had many good friends and lasting memories. Margaret was preceded in death by her father and mother, Edward Foraker Mynatt and Olive Bergen Mynatt and her beloved husband, Victor H. McLean J r. She is survived by her sons, Victor (Buddy) H. Mclean III and wife Janet, James Frazier McLean and wife Terri; grandchildren, Matthew McLean of Nashville and wife Julie, Tori Hayes and husband Jon, Lea Parks and husband Brandon, Kelsey Manners and husband John all of Knoxville, HN Megan McLean McAlister at US Naval Hospital Guam and her husband HN Ryan; great grand children, Anna Kate, Knox and McKenna McLean of Nashville, Ella, Luke, and Lydia Hayes, and Linley and Vivian Parks; faithful cousins, Bill Lawhon of Knoxville and Jane Scruggs of Cleveland TN; special friend, Edie Spriggs of St. Petersburg Beach, Florida. Special thanks to caregiver Judy Gertsmyer. Our eternal thanks to her faithful caregiver of almost 2 1/ 2 years, Deborah Stockton, for her Godly, selfless, and devoted heart shown to Margaret, Vic and the entire family every day. The family and friends will meet Sunday, February 7th at 1:00 pm at Greenwood Cemetery for a graveside service with Dave Russell officiating.
