Michael Todd Cramer

The community sadly lost a pillar on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 1:26 pm, when Michael Todd Cramer, passed away unexpectedly. His contributions to the lives of many included leadership at Johnstone Supply, leading founder in Knoxville Pride, board member of Community Coalition against Community Human Trafficking, Positively Living, involved in Human Rights Campaign and Leadership Knoxville (best class ever!), and countless other charities. Todd was incredibly active in sports or anything competitive, he excelled at softball, skiing, golf, and loved football. His generosity extended to anyone he encountered in need. Todd is survived by the loving community of Knoxville and his husband, Mr. Ernie W. Hoskins. He is also survived by his father and mother Richard and Linda Cramer, many loving nieces and nephews of the Cramer, Key, and Hoskins families, two fur babies Hops and Virginia Woof, and a great many friends that he considered family. He was preceded in death by his brother Kevin Cramer, sister in law Amanda Tuttle, aunt Jenny Waters, and grandparents Richard and Bonnell Cramer Sr. and Clarence and Mildred Key. Todd attended Clemson University and was integral in the Clemson fraternity Sigma Chi. He graduated becoming a stockbroker for many years, then began working at Johnstone Supply where he would eventually become a board member of the national co-operative. He was CEO and President and owner of RFC Company, the family business. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with, as well as those he reached but never met. As we all know, Todd was larger than life and would want everyone to continue celebrating life to the fullest. Please join us for a celebration of life and remembrance of Todd’s kindness, loyalty, and compassion on Friday, February 2nd at Bridgewater Place with a receiving of friends from 1:00-3:00pm and a service to follow.
