Christine Rhea Aubert (Cantwell) Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Christine Rhea Aubert (Cantwell) age 45, of Knoxville, TN., formerly of Pittsburgh, PA., Greentown, IN., and Sebastian and Tampa, FL., passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in Knoxville. Beloved mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and educator. Christine was a graduate of Pittsburgh Culinary Academy, Eastern Florida State College (Associates), and University of Central Florida Bachelors of Education-Bed, Exceptional Student Education. License and certifications – Education K-5, Exceptional Student Education K-12, ESOL Endorsement, Special Ed Teacher Leto High School, Tampa, FL., and Spring Hill Elementary, Knoxville, TN. In May of 2015 she was nominated for the Excellence in Education Award. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles McHugh Sr., paternal grandparents, Leo and Elizabeth Cantwell, maternal great grandparents, Merle M. and Selma Worman, and aunt, Jeanie Cantwell. She is survived by her sons, Joshua Aubert and Matthew Aubert, parents, Debbie (McHugh) and John Cantwell, sister, Elizabeth (Beth) Cantwell, maternal grandmother, Marlene McHugh, aunts: Barbara McHugh of Florida, and Patricia (Michael) Kancel of Pennsylvania; and uncles: Charles (Kathy) McHugh of Pennsylvania, and Robert (Debbie) Cantwell of Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Stoney Point Church, 1980 Stoney Road Knoxville, TN 37914. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 10:30 am, followed by a 10:30 am memorial service officiated by Pastor Wesley Pursiful. A second memorial to be held in Christine’s home town of Greentown, IN. at a later date.
