Freida Coram, 89 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at Elmcroft West on Monday, January 25, 2021. He daughters and devoted son in law were at her bedside and she was graciously cared for by the dedicated staff of Elmcroft West and UT Hospice caregivers. Prior to residing at Elmcroft Memory Care, she was a resident at Windsor Gardens of Knoxville. Freida was a member of Spring Place Presbyterian Church, where she served on the Presbytery. She was a graduate of Central High School class of 1948. She was a loving mother and wife and was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William Carl Coram in 2001. In earlier years, she served as a Girl Scout Leader and was a “stay at home” mom who devoted her life raising two daughters. She is survived by daughters, Gayle Coram Willard of Knoxville and Susan Coram Hind of Townsend. She is also survived by her faithful son in law of fifty years, Mike Willard and preceded in death by son in law, Jim Hind. Additionally, she is survived by her dear granddaughters, Ashlee Willard Holloway (Sean Holloway) and Lindsay Willard Harold, all of Knoxville; great grandchildren, Mia and Morgan Holloway and Gaige and Carson Harold also of Knoxville.
