Jeffrey Eugene Dunlap Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jeffrey Eugene Dunlap 60 of Knoxville gained his angel wings at 3:33pm on Saturday, June 11th 2022. Jeff was an O.G in every sense of the word. In his time, he made Jimmy, Henry, and Tommy look like shoe salesmen instead of goodfellas. He loved his family very much and, believed that family was key to happiness and spent up to his last moments unifying them. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Princella who amazingly survived him, but not age, his handsome son Tony, his sweet southern voiced sister Joy, his very patient wife Monica, and stepdaughter Page. He is survived by his decently handsome son Josh (Amber), his charming daughter Jami, and his secretly not so quite daughter Kelly. He is also survived by his wiser older brother James, still a rascal of a little brother Jerry (Kim), his grandchildren Dillion, Preston, Victor, Jonathon, Neveah, Julio, Maliah, Trinidy, Lexie, Noah, Zach, James, Gaige, and Shaelynn, and his great grandchildren Kinley and Aurora. Jeff enjoyed sitting on the porch, with a "cold drink" (OG name for Soda) and listening to music. He had a magnetic personality, a great sense of humor, and everyone that met him instantly fell in love (see attached children list). His many nieces and nephews were there to always pick him up when he was down (literally) and for that and many more reasons he loved and was thankful for Thomas, Gina, Shane, Jonathon, Destinee, Nate, Kayden, Eric, JJ, Clarissa, Zach, Caitlyn and Skylar. In every family everyone has a favorite niece or nephew, with no exception here. Jeff dearly loved his niece, Crystal. Maybe because she is just like his mother in every sense of the word, or because she is a real one, family first, always ready to go to war for them. (Just ask, we have stories). Slight chance it's because she took amazing care of him in his past three years. Either way she’s a family favorite for everyone. Please join us for services Friday June 24th 2022 at Rose Mortuary on Broadway from 10am-12pm with Service and Burial to follow at Ridenour Cemetery in Andersonville TN. The family would like to thank Michael, Preston, Victor, Thomas, Jonathon (Nephew), Jonathon (Grandson), Nate, and J.J, for being Pallbearers.
