June 16, 1951 - January 15, 2022

John Charles Post, age 70 of Hartford, Tn went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday January 15, 2022 at UT Medical Center. John is survived by his loving wife Marsha of 14 years; his loving children Kelsey (Lorenz) Boeck; son James Post (very special friend, Melissa); their mother, Signe Post; sisters Mary Lynn Schwenker(David) Bonnie Ann Post; brothers Don Post( Nadine), Wayne Post ( Michiel); and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends. John was preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth Post. John was born in Paterson New Jersey and raised as a young man in Goshen New York when he moved to Melbourne Beach, Fla to pursue his Engineering dream graduating from the University of Central Fla. He was employed By Harris Corporation in Palm Bay, Fla for many years and chose to retire in East Tennessee so he could continue his love of nature exploring the many hiking trails offered there and relaxing on his property in the Smoky Mountains. He will be missed so much!!! A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, a favorite charity of John’s.
