Lena Cheek Hickman

May 19, 1927 - February 1, 2022

Lena Cheek Hickman, age 94, of Knoxville, our precious Momma, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 1, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was of the Baptist faith, and she was a very loving momma, mamaw, and gran granny. She was preceded in death by parents, Anna Mae and Robert King; siblings, Kate Thomas, Glen, Jesse, Luke, Joe, Eddie, and Ralph King, and Pearl Sellers; children, Troy Cheek, Jr. and Linda Carver; husbands, Troy Cheek, Sr. and Ben Hickman; grandchildren, Carla Caughorn, Buddy Faulkner, Anthony Cheek and Heather Cheek; and great granddaughter, Christina Faulkner. She is survived by children, Reva Collins, Bobby (Betty) Cheek, Jacky (Kim) Cheek, Gary (Yvonne) Cheek, Ricky (Stacy) Cheek; and a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday February 4, 2022, at ROSE FUNERAL & CREMATION BROADWAY. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Tommy King officiating. The family and friends will meet at 12:45 pm Saturday February 5, 2022, at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 pm interment service.
