    Rose Farid Jubran, age 85, of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Ramallah, Palestine to Elias and Mazzouzeh Sarsour of San Francisco, California. Beloved Wife of the late Farid Abdallah Jubran and Beloved Mother of the late Basim Farid Jubran. Loving Mother to her Daughters Julia J. Brix (Antonino) and Leila F. Jubran. Loving Grandmother to Troy I. Mousa and Fareed Jubran (Annie). Loving Great Grandmother to Jameel and Jasmine Jubran. She is survived by her loving Brother Nicola Elias Sarsour (Samira) and her loving Sister Fadwa Harb (Farid). Dear Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews of both the Sarsour and Jubran families. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother Yacoub Sarsour (Bahieh), Azizeh Mousa (Mousa), Yasmine Rafidi (Nabih), Asma Jabbour (Habib). Rose was involved in many activities and had numerous interests and hobbies throughout her life. She loved cooking and having family gatherings in her home. Rose loved birds and spent many hours gazing on their colors and flights in and out of their birdhouses that she erected outside her kitchen window. She loved making floral arrangements which she proudly displayed throughout her home. She spent time with family and friends playing cards and laughing, joking and smiling. Rose loved to dance any time the opportunity arose. She loved to fish and enjoyed the outdoors, especially picnics with the family. She was loving and kind to everyone that knew her. Her family was her life and her joy. Rose was a dedicated and loving wife to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always had a positive attitude, a sense of humor and enjoyed her life to the fullest. She will be greatly missed and her life will be celebrated by all that knew her. Visitors will be received for viewing at Rose Mann Mortuary, 6200 Kingston Pike, on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 5 pm until 7 pm. All PPE restrictions will be strictly followed please. The Church Service will be officiated by Father Anthony Stratis of St. George Greek Orthodox Church at Sherwood Memorial Gardens, 3176 Airport Highway, on Friday, December 18, 2020, at 1 pm. A traditional memorial and celebration of Rose’s life will be scheduled after our country recovers from the pandemic. In lieu of flowers, donations for Rose may be offered to The American Federation of Ramallah, Palestine; Educational and Charitable Fund – Relief Fund. Money to feed the hungry.
