Sara Allene Harville

Sara Allene Harville, age 71 of Knoxville TN, died of natural causes at her home on March 22, 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Sara was preceded in death by parents Mozelle Allen Harville and Gerome Harville and stepmother Patricia Balch Harville. She is survived by siblings Gwendolyn Walton (Robert), Faye Wilson (David), and Donald Harville; nieces Jennifer Manrod (Matthew) and Julia Walton; nephew Brian Walton (Melissa); and 5 great-nieces and great-nephews. Sara was a 1968 graduate of Rogersville High School. She attended the University of Tennessee, graduating with B.S. and M.S. degrees and completing additional post-graduate coursework. Sara taught math and computer classes at Morristown West Middle school for 30 years before moving to GA to teach math, computer, and gifted classes in Gwinnett County middle schools. Her hobbies included playing a variety of musical instruments, including performing in church handbell choirs for many years. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of your choice. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
