    Sheree Louise "Shabunk" Mynatt Cox

    April 11, 2022

Sheree Louise “Shabunk” Mynatt Cox (Mamaw), age 66, of Strawberry Plains, TN formerly of Knoxville, TN passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was a woman of faith and loved God above all. She was an amazing Mom and Mamaw and she lived for her family. She was a simple person and wasn’t about possession of things that she didn’t need. If she had something, it was something that was very special to her. She put her kids and grandkids above herself no matter how she felt. She would care for us when we were sick. We take comfort in knowing she is in her heavenly home and we will be together again. We love you mom. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Franklin Mynatt, Sr. and Sue Ann Russell Mynatt; brother, Jeb Stewart Mynatt; sister, Sonya Darlene Mynatt; angel “Kitty Cat” Cox, son-in-law, Paul Lee Hodge; brother-in-law, Sgt. Major David Hatfield, Sr. She is survived by her son, Albert Leon Cox, Jr. (Julie); daughters, Christie Rena Cox, Brandy Nicole Cox (Matt), Keesha Leanne Pratt (Jason); grandchildren, Logan Cox, Cody (Codeman) Cox, Austin Cox, Summer Hackler, Noah Hackler, Michael Cox, Hank Pratt, Jocelyn Henderson, and Brian Cross; great grandchildren, Adrianna Jean Lee Cox; brothers, Paul Franklin Mynatt, Jr. (Phyllis), Barry Lynn (Stinky) Mynatt (Melissa); sisters, Mary Ann Mynatt Bowling (Gene), Angie Mynatt Hickman (Ronnie); adopted daughter, Christy Barnes, special friend Billy Daniels and special companion Lucy Pup; and several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 pm Friday, April 15 2022 at Rose Funeral & Cremation-Broadway. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Pete Daniels officiating. Family and friends will gather at 12:45 pm Saturday, April 16 2022 at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1:00 pm graveside service. Pallbearers will be David Hatfield, Donny Hatfield, Jason Mynatt, Jason Pratt, Matt Hackler, Brian Cross, Michael Cox, Logan Cox, and Hank Pratt. Honorary Pallbearers are Austin Cox, Cody Cox, and Noah Hackler. Online condolences may be extended at www.rosefuneraltn.com
