Tibby Linginfelter

Tibby Linginfelter, age 77, of Knoxville, TN left her earthly home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 2, 2022. She attended Second United Methodist Church. She was graduate of East High School class of 1962, and loved everything Vols. She was preceded in death by her parents, John (Goatie) and Hattie Linginfelter; sister, Cyndee Leatherwood and husband Jay, brother, John (Jay) Linginfelter, II and wife Scharamaine, brother-in-law, Gilbert Oxendine. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tabitha Stewart (Chris); grandchildren, Tyler Kruzic, Jaiden Kruzic, Ashlyn Stewart, Zane Stewart, Brooklyn Stewart, Courtlyn Stewart, sister Sue Oxendine. Nieces and nephews, Leslie Fowler, Stacie Cloyd, Chris Oxendine, Tanza Leatherwood, Trista Wearing, John (J.C.) Leatherwood, III, Jay Linginfelter, III Carey Jones, Daniel Cagle, Trey Linginfelter and their families. Special great niece Kirsten (Nate) Shelton and children, In Tibby’s memory the family would like everyone to wear Purple/Lavender or Vol Orange. Family will receive friends from 11: 00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Rose Funeral & Cremation-Broadway. A fuenral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm in Clarks Grove Cemetery 3217 Williams Mill Road, Maryville, TN 37804 with Jay Linginfelter, III officiating.
