Norman, Kenneth L. “ To be Absent from the body is to be Present with the Lord .” ll Corinthians 5:8 Our beloved Kenneth L. Norman is in the presence of his Savior and infant son as of September 30, 2010. A man of honor and such Character, he has left a legacy for his family to treasure. To his wife Jane { His other half } he leaves almost 40 years of Love and total devotion. To his beautiful daughter Ruth, whose birth he called the sweetest blessing that God ever gave him, he leaves a picture of all that a Knight-in- shining Armor ought to be sustain her throughout her whole life. To his 3 little grandsons Shawn, Kevin and Ethan he has given countless hours of hugs and kisses from his strong arms, always teaching by example how a “ good Man “ conducts himself. To the boys mother, Quilan he offered a safe haven of love and security. This large and loving family will miss his presence every single day, but we are nurtured by the One who first loved us. “ But as it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered in to the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” I Corinthians 2:9 . Our extended family Jane’s sister Becky and husband Gary their children, Sally ( Blake ), Jennifer ( Tim ), Michael, Paul, Jeremy, and Reilly. Ann and her family and many other cousins, brothers and sisters in Christ, Kenny and Jaynetta, David and Brenda, Kay and Will, Brenda and Wayne, Melanie and Larry. Kenny’s neighbor and good friend , Harold and so many more. To the amazing staff of the Sweetwater Amedysis Hospice Staff What an incrediable job you do! Every Day and Night. Lord may we live our lives as selflessly as our Kenny lived his. Funeral service 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Reverend Albert Barlow officiating. Family and friends will meet at the entrance to Edgewood Cemetery at 10:45 A.M. Monday for an 11:00 A.M. Interment with Full Military Honors provided by the Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard.
