Lisa Diane French Hall

Lisa Diane (French) Hall, age 64, surrounded by her loved ones, went peacefully to be with Jesus on Sunday, March 29, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. Lisa cherished her faith, family, and friends. She accepted Christ at a young age at her childhood church, First Free Will Baptist Church, where she directed the Vacation Bible School at just 15 years old. Over the past several years, she attended Faith Promise and Pathways Churches, where she lived out her faith with her beloved weekly small group of many years. Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt to many, but, above all, being Nana to Brent, Livi, Caleb, and Jeffrey was the highlight of her life. She loved holidays and making them special for others, especially all the children in the family. She was sure to show up with loads of Easter baskets, Christmas stockings, and fun games. To say Lisa loved to travel is an understatement. She especially enjoyed cruises (having been on 16), and she treasured the more than 30-year tradition of an annual girls’ shopping trip to Atlanta. She had a deep love for animals and was a devoted volunteer with Angels Among Us Pet Rescue for many years, even in her very last days. Lisa served as secretary of the Sevier County Choppers bowling league for many years and was a member of the SMUSBC. Preceded in death by: father Norman French; grandsons Caleb Williams and Brent Williams (her “baby angel”); sister-in-law Kay Gonzalez; and brother-in-law Buster Hall. Survived by: beloved husband of 25 years John Hall; mother Aileen French; daughter Kristi (Jeff) Daugherty; son Brandon (Rena) Williams; bonus daughters Sonya Hall and Kim (Tyler) Pregmon; granddaughter Olivia Ramsey; grandson Jeffrey Daugherty; sisters Angie (Jim) Shepherd and Stephanie Cardwell; special brother Michael Hall; sisters-in-law Veeta (Mike) Sharp, Joy (Mike) Zack, and Brenda (Nikki) Hall; nephews Adam (Keisha) Shepherd, Weston (Kirstin) Shepherd, and Logan Cardwell; nieces Madison (Timmy) Ellison and Savannah Cardwell; a host of great nieces and nephews; father of her children Greg Williams; and very special friends Sharon Stephens, DeDe McMillan, Patty Gloyd, and Tony Rice. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 pm with Rev.
